Nu-Relics was established in 1990. We are located in East Bend, NC - a small community near Winston-Salem. We are about 70 miles north of Charlotte, NC. Earl Cornelius has built Street Rods for over 40 years. During these years, he wanted power windows that were easy to install and worked properly - keeping the window level and straight as it went up and down. As a result, he developed a set of power windows for his 1940 Ford using the original manual window regulator as the base for the power window. It was not long before his friends wanted these wonderful power windows for their cars too. Thus the establishment of Nu-Relics. During the early years, the electric windows were conversions of the manual window regulators. As time passed, Earl developed mounting plates, arms and gears to completely manufacture the power windows.
