Whether converting to power brakes or replacing parts, this power brake booster kits contains a custom bolt-on 9" brake booster with dual master cylinder and proportioning valve from CPP that is built to fit your 1965 or 1966 Chevy Impala. The dual master cylinder means that there is a back-up should a brake line fail, and the proportioning valve ensures that the pressure is distributed properly between the front and rear brakes, which reduces the chance of a rear brake lockup on a hard stop. CPP recommends that when changing to disc brakes, you add this booster kit in due to the higher pressure in the brake lines that occurs with disc brakes as opposed to drum brakes.
