Description

The Chevrolet Advance Design series of pickup trucks started in 1947 and continued until 1955. Then they were replaced by the Task Force Series in 1956. These late 50s trucks were still work trucks, but they were bigger and sleeker than the previous series. This was the first redesign since WWII, and they offered panel trucks, cab-overs and what would become the Suburban in their lineup. These trucks are a staple at car shows all over the world, and their restoration includes replacing worn rubber or other parts like the column shift lever boot.

This rubber boot fits the lower shift lever in 1947 to 1959 GMC or Chevy truck models. Without the shift boot, you have an interior that isn't finished. This boot helps keep debris from falling down into the shifter.
