The roof rail seal is the rubber seal that goes along the top of the door frame where the window rolls up. This creates a seal around the edge of the window, which keeps water from leaking in around the window. It also protects the edge of the window from chips and cracks. Without the seal, the interior and metal edges are exposed to water or snow, which can let moisture damage it. These rubber seals come with the metal core, and they are made to fit the 1955 through 1957 Bel-Air Nomad. They have been manufactured by DCM.
