From the Desk of Tray Smith - August

Ok, so this month really sneaked up on me. We have been on the road so much last month that it just hit me as I sit in a hotel room in Los Angeles that BAM, your article is due. So here I go with a really rushed version this month.

I have been in LA for a few days attending the SEMA Council Leadership conference. Now, I am not going to bore you with the details of that, and besides, I can’t. But what I want to talk to you about is being engaged within the automotive world as a whole. I personally believe we as hot rod and restoration enthusiasts do not do a good enough job at staying up on what is happening in our world as it pertains to the hobby we all love and support. So I am challenging each one of you that read this article to take time and follow your news, as in magazines you get, emails that you have subscribed to, etc. Take the time to read them, there is some really good information in there. Lots of people take a lot of time to write these and put lots of hard work into developing these channels to talk to you, our customers and members of the hot rod and restoration world. So please, if you signed up for it, take the time to read it.

Like I said very short and sweet this month, because I didn’t take the time to work on this more. So enjoy the dog days of summer, and you will hear again from the desk of Tray Smith.
