From The Desk of Tray Smith - May

Closing a chapter in your life and opening a new one. This may seem like a sentimental opening but it has meaning for me. This month my oldest son will close the first chapter in his life and open a new one. He is graduating from High School. I have been very fortunate that I have a son that has worked hard and studied and got good grades and has been given a full academic scholarship to college. Well this has been and huge relief for his mother and I. But more than that, like many other young men and women his age they are closing the first chapter of life and moving on to a new one.

I hope his mother and I have done the job we were supposed to. We have tried to instill in our children a work ethic that will help carry them through the next chapter of his life and on into the next one. I know this all sounds a little sappy and we’ll maybe it is. But it just something that I as a father needed to say. I am very proud of my son and all that he has accomplished.

So my hats off to you Zachery Leroy, you have a very bright future ahead of you and I hope you will continue on the path you have started.
